Partials are a collection of multiple components. Created partials can be used on multiple pages.
Before we can start editing and or deleting partials, we’ll first have to have created a partial.
To edit a partial, you’ll first have to select a partial. Once a partial is selected, you can go ahead and click on the ‘Edit partial’ button located in the sidebar.
This button will popup once you hover over the partial.
Clicking the edit partial button will open the ‘Partial Editor’. The partial editor is, just like the name suggests, an editor for the partial. Any changes made to a partial in the partial editor will apply to all instances. For example, changing the title will change the title on every page that the partial is placed onto.
Besides editing a partial, it can also be converted back to the consisting components. All that needs to be done is clicking the ‘Convert to components’ button located on the right side of the ‘Edit partial’ button.
To delete a partial, you’ll need to navigate to the partials tab.
Once a partial is selected, you can go ahead and click on the ‘Delete partial’ button located in the sidebar. This button will popup once you hover over the partial.
Clicking the ‘Delete partial’ button will trigger a window warning stating that removing the partial will remove it from all instances. Meaning the partial will be removed from all the pages it’s being used on.
